Last and final E-Mail

MOM!

Sounds like you had a blast this week!  I love the pictures of the Homecoming!  My mission presidents are great!  and I am amazed at how many missionaries were there!  I wish I could have been there.....oh well there is always next time!

This week we have been doing the some things!  Working, finding, teaching, baptizing, retaining, and activating.  This week we were able to have the baptism of Dafne.  I had been working with her for four months and finsally we were able to have her be baptized!  She has always had a fear of water and so it was a little had for her to be in the water. The whole time we were teaching her she told us that she wanted to be baptized but when she got into the water she was scared to death.  It was  abeautiful baptismal service and I am really glad that the ward has helped us so much here.

This past week we had our last zone conference.  It was weird giving my last testimony but I don`t feel like I am finishing.  I just feel like I am starting another transfer.  I feel like going home isn`t going to be as hard as I thought.  but we will see......

Today we went to tenancingo with our Sister training leaders!  It was fantastic to see tenancingo again!  I was able to visit some of my converts and some of the members that I new and The ward has changed a lot since I left there.  They will be finishing the new chapel this montha dn one of the members gave us a sneek peek in how it is going to be!  It is gorgeous! I can`t belieive that every area that I have had will now have a chapel!  I can`t wait to see how much the ward and stake grow here in Metepec!

Welp....I can`t belieive that next week I will be with you guys!  It is a little stressing but I am excited to see all of you!  I was just looking at photos of our family and I can just say that it has changed a lot since I left Cedar city......

My last week I probably won`t be writing you so don`t worry about writing something long to me! I will have monday in the city, tuesday in the temple, and wednesday flying home!  I can`t wait to see you!

Love you so so so so so so much!

Se Solicite Acabadores!

MAMA!

Youve got it right....I am starting my last transfer and good news.....I am staying in Alta!  Woo hoo!  I am so excited for this last transfer! I know that it is going to be amazing and that we are going to work so hard!

That is sad that the camry died. I was excpecting it because it suffered a car crash and years of traveling. You really need  a new car.  And I really need to save my money so that I can buy a volkswagon bus!  You should ask hailey if there are any there in Texas...:)

This week was great!  I have learned the importance of loosing your self in the work.  I know that when we are sad we can always serve someone and that will make us feel better!  I think that one of the things that I will miss most about being a missionary is know what I need to do to serve the people.  I feel like people trust the missionaries more than any other person and they always let us know how we can serve them.

This week we have been working a lot in the rain!  I love that during the day it is really hot and then in the night it gets really cold and starts raining and hailing.  My companion has left the house with her rain boots every day that it has not rained....hahahaha!

This week We had a really spiritual testimony meeting.  I cried during the whole service and couldn´t believe the faith of the people here.  Every fast and testimony meeting the members have a waiting line to get up and bare (bear¿?) their testimonies.  As missionaries we have the goal to get up and bare our testimony too but sometimes the time flies and we dont have the chance to bare it.

I am now starting my new transfer with Hermana Valderas from Chile.  She just barely finished her training and is ready to hit the ground running!  We are going to have a lot of fun together and I know that I will finish strong!

Love you tons!

Last week of transfer!

MOM!

I bet Taylor is really excited for school to be over!  I always loved the summer vacations!  I can´t believe that her band is playing in gigs! I bet that they sound great!  Maybe they can play a few songs when I get home from the mission.....

New brakes on the Truck!  It is about time that you got around to doing that!  I am really excited to drive again!  HAHAHAHA!  But I am not quite sure how I am going to be at driving.....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!  I love that you are having so much fun with Liam! JAJAJAJAJAJAJA!  I remember all of the good times that I had with him My senior year!

What a week!  We have been getting caught in the rain a lot of the time that we have been here.  One day it started hailing and the hail was pelting us.  We had to wait for the storm to die down in order to start working again.  I love the rain but it isn´t great for missionary work.  A lot of the people don´t want to open their doors to two wet Sisters.......

We did have 2 baptisms this week!  The Maya Family, ( the family that has the band) were baptized on Saturday and were confirmed on Sunday!  It was a wonderful baptismal service!  After they were baptized we invited them to share their testimonies and I loved hearing what they said.  They said that even though the water was cold and they were scared of the water....when they came out of the water they felt peace.  They know that the church is true!  Their confirmation blessings were amazing too!  I know that they will be sealed in the temple!

I hope that I stay in this area until I come home but I have a feeling that I will be transferred my last transfer.  I just hope that it isn´t true

I still haven´t heard from my package but I hope that it gets here soon!  No worries about the dress.  We still haven´t heard anything about the dress rule so I think that it will be alright.

I love you so much"

Promised Blessings!

MOM!

Wow!  You guys are really busy!  I can´t believe that everyone wants to have the wedding in our backyard!  I guess I did a great job working in the garden....;) !

This week was great!  My new companion is amazing!  She is from the same generation as Hna Soria, Hna Suarez, and Hna Rodriguez!  She works really hard and I love that she is helping me so much in the lessons!

This week we have been trying to put more of the Spirit in our lessons.  We have been planning for them so that they can know that we really love them!  We had a great experience with Vicente.  He went to church with us last week but told us that he would not be able to go the next week because he wants to spend more time with his kids.  When we taught the Restoration the Spirit testified of every work and we promised him that if he would go to church that he would have more time to spend with his kids.  When he showed up to church on Sunday his son was there by his side!  I love the gospel!

We were able to find a few miracles this week.  A lot of people have been going to church for a long time but we haven´t noticed.  Now they are progressing investigators!  I love that miracles are in every place.

This week we were supposed to have 3 baptisms but we had a lot of trials Saturday and Sunday.  Sunday morning we prayed to see 3 baptisms and as we got to church our baptisms had fallen through.  But a little bit after the services we received a call from our zone leaders that the elders from Tenancingo were going to come to Atla to baptize.  We got the baptismal font ready and we were able to see 3 baptisms.  God answers prayers but I have leaned that we need to be a little more specific... JAJAJA!

I haven´t gotten my package yet but I am sure that it is in the mission offices!  Don´t worry everything will be fine!

I love you so much!

Super Short

Hi mom!

I am sorry but this letter will be a little short we have so many things to do today and I don+´t have a lot of time!

This week was great!  We have found many new people to work with  and I think that we will be seeing a lot of new people in the church!

Hermana Rodriguez is being transferred and I am staying in the area!  I am sad to see her go but I am excited to stay here in the area!

I still haven´t gotten the packages but I am sure they are in the offices!

Not much to say because I just talked to you!

MOM!

Thank you so much for your advice!  I am going to work to be the best companion that I can be!  I loved talking to you and all I can say is that We had some beautiful confirmations on Sunday!  Sandy and Veronica were both confirmed and it gave them so much confidence! They are both participating actively in the church!

I love you so much!  Thank you for the pics from home!

It's Almost Mother's Day!

MOM!

Can you believe it!  It seems like time is flying and honestly it stresses me out.  I don´t know what I am going to do and I feel like I need to work even harder!  Honestly with all of the stress of going home I have forgotten to have a little fun this week.  But don´t worry Mom I try to make the mission work as fun as I can!  AAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhh!

I stayed in my area!  I honestly hope that I will be able to finish my mission here but I will go where the Lord sends me.  Elder Kennington got transferred and he is now a Zone leader!  We are still the only sisters in the area but I am alright with that.  More work for us!

This week was a little rough for me.  I feel like the first week is always hard with a new companion.  We just have to get into the groove of things and develop this unity so that we can continue teaching.

So much changes in such little time.

This week we have been working on finding new people to teach and it is amazing where the people come from.  I love that God prepares the people and puts us in their path.  This week we have had so many people come up to us saying that they want to listen to the lessons and old investigators that are ready to be baptized and so many other things.  It gives me a lot of hope and I hope that I will be able to help them!

Have a great week!  I will talk to you Sunday at 5 pm Utah time  6 pm Mexico time!  so have everything ready!

Love, Hermana Drew
