SNOW in Cedar! Well I guess that was bound to happen right?! The weather is so nice here. It's been really hot lately and I have been sweating a ton...
It´s weird not having Hermana Johnson. It´s seems like our lessons don´t flow as well, but I have learned a lot and so has Hermana Spencer. We are learning that things might come up in companionship's and that we have to work through things and still keep going. Hermana Johnson has some problems with her intestines. She is getting a test done on Monday if things go well, she can return to her mission and skip past the MTC.
My Spanish is coming great! I do lessons and I think I am so good at Spanish and then I go and talk to a native and I basically end up doing charades for them. It´s coming though. I am going to learn so much more when I am out in the field.
My whole district leaves on Monday in the AM. My mission president is suppose to pick me up at 8:00...I think. I don´t know if I will get to call you but keep your phone handy!
I am most excited to teach real people and see my Spanish improve. Plus eating the food is pretty great too.
I have enjoyed everything about the CCM! The people, the teachers, the food, the classes, everything! I am sad to leave but I can´t serve my mission here always!
Every Sunday they make our district write talks and its completely random who gets to speak. I have shared my testimony and spoken and this next Sunday, I get to share my testimony again. We have sacrament with our zone. I wasn´t really nervous to speak because I know people can´t understand me anyway.
Kenna writes me almost every week We share a lot of advice. It´s great!
So this week David Archeleta and Carolina Muñoz, the boxing lady from Meet the Mormons, came to the CCM. I didn´t get a picture with them but they waved really big and friendly at me. It was the best day EVER!
I got to welcome the new missionaries and escort them to dinner! It was really fun and the Hermanas are all so cool! They will do great things!
So I was really scared to go out into the field, this last Sunday. There were a lot of tears involved. Luckily all of our teachers received revelation and gave lessons that were exactly for me. I said a prayer and I got an answer. One of my teachers reminded me of a story I heard where He is telling us to come closer to the edge of a cliff and even though it is scary when we jump off we are going to soar. I am still scared to go but I know things are going to work out. I am really excited too.
Mom I love you tons and I can´t wait to possibly speak to you on Monday!
Love you more than delicious Mexican Ice cream!
